1. Acceptable use

By using Vantage you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes.
• Not engage in any automated abuse — no scraping, no credential stuffing, no rate-limit evasion, no use of bots or scripts that imitate human interaction without prior written permission from the operator.
• Not attempt to access data belonging to other organisations or other users, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without prior written permission.
• Not upload content that is unlawful, infringes another party's rights, or contains malware.

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of the above, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

2. Privacy

What we collect

Vantage collects only what is needed to run the platform:

• Your name and email address (for sign-in, invites, and account recovery).
• The name of your organisation and the funds, companies, and related records you create within it.
• An activity log of significant events — sign-ins, password changes, invite sends, record creations — tagged with your organisation ID and user ID. The log records what happened and when, not the underlying content of your records.
• Standard server logs (timestamp, request path, response status) for security and debugging. These are retained for a limited period and not used for advertising or profiling.

How we use it

We use your data solely to operate the platform: to authenticate you, to enforce permissions (who in your organisation can see what), to send transactional emails (invites, password resets, confirmations), and to investigate and fix issues. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to train external AI models. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or external analytics platforms. How we protect it

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Row-level security policies enforce that one organisation cannot read another organisation's data. Server-only keys (service-role credentials) are kept in provider-managed environment variables and never shipped to the browser.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to capture client-side JavaScript errors so we can fix them. Events are tagged with your organisation ID and user ID only. We strip names, emails, request bodies, response bodies, and any URL query strings from Sentry events before they are sent.

Session analytics

We collect anonymised session data when you interact with Vantage, including the 10 Minute Valuation Analysis demo. This includes which features you interact with, time spent in the tool, aggregated usage patterns, and approximate location (country and region only — derived from your network connection, not stored as a precise location). We do not store your IP address. We use a one-way cryptographic hash that cannot be reversed to detect abusive traffic patterns. We do not share this data with third parties. This processing is carried out under our legitimate interest in understanding how our product is used and improving it for all users. You may request deletion of any session data associated with your account by contacting us.

How to request deletion

To request the deletion of your account or your organisation's data, email the operator at the address listed on the contact line at the bottom of this page. We will respond within a reasonable period and confirm once deletion is complete.

3. Beta service limitations

• No SLA. The service may be unavailable, slow, or interrupted at any time, with or without notice.
• Schema changes. During the beta period, database schemas and feature behaviour may change in ways that require you to re-enter or re-confirm data.
• Data loss risk. While we take reasonable care, there is no guarantee against data loss during the beta period. Maintain your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
• Not for regulated workflows. Vantage is not yet suitable as the system of record for workflows with legal, regulatory, or financial reporting obligations.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantage and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunity. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.

5. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
